Two charts, one comparison
Synastry is the practice of comparing two birth charts by overlaying or aligning them and examining the angles between points from one chart and points from the other. It is one of several traditional approaches to compatibility, alongside composite charts.
What a comparison usually examines
- Inter-chart aspects: for example, one person's Venus in aspect to another's Mars.
- House overlay: which of one person's houses the other's planets fall into.
- Angle contacts: relationships involving the Ascendant or Midheaven, which require reliable birth times.
What it is not
A synastry score is a summary of symbolic conventions, not a measurement of relationship success. It cannot predict outcomes. NaYinTop labels compatibility interpretations as AI-generated where applicable, states that birth-time-dependent placements may be approximate, and frames every result as entertainment and self-reflection only.
